🌗 Screen

Look at the radio's screen. If it is upside-down or the colours look wrong, try these — each change shows on the device straight away.

For a radio mounted upside-down. Only the picture turns: if taps then land in the wrong place, fix the touch in Settings → Display.

For panels where every colour is wrong (e.g. yellow shows as blue, black as white).

For panels where red shows as blue but green is right. No effect on AMOLED and mono panels.

💾 SD card

Is there a microSD card in the radio, and how is it connected? Without one the SD player screen has nothing to play, so it is hidden.

The card speaks the native SD bus, 1-bit: CLK, CMD and D0. Usual for a slot built into the dev board, or a bare slot you wire yourself. CMD and D0 want ~10k pull-ups to 3.3 V; leave D3 unconnected or pulled up — held low, it drops the card into SPI mode.

The card is wired as SPI: SCK, MOSI, MISO and CS — a breakout module, or a bare slot (CLK→SCK, CMD→MOSI, D0→MISO, D3→CS). Many breakout modules need 5 V on VCC — at 3.3 V their regulator gives the card too little.

🔵 Bluetooth

Is a Bluetooth audio module fitted to this radio? Without one the Bluetooth screen is hidden.

GPIO numbers on the ESP32. Power / enable is optional: -1 when the module is always powered.

🔊 Maximum volume

How loud full volume may get. Lower it if the speakers distort near the top. Volume sliders keep going from 0 to 100; this only changes how loud 100 actually is.

100 % = no limit. You can change this later in Settings → Audio.

🕒 Time and date

How the time and date are shown on the device.

Other timezones can be typed in Settings → Date & Time.

🌀 Screensaver

What the screen shows after a while without any touch, button or remote.

This style needs more setup afterwards in Settings → Screensaver.

🎭 Theme

A theme dresses every screen at once: wallpapers, layouts and knobs, published on atlascube.net. Pick one, or keep the plain look.

You can change the theme later in Layout editor → Themes.

This is what will be saved. You can run the wizard again from Settings → Display → Visible screens.

Unticked, the radio offers the wizard again the next time its page is opened.
