🔌 I/O slots
Sixteen pins you can give a meaning to. Any of them can be an output you
drive yourself (relay, LED, fan) or an input you read (push-button, switch,
PIR, reed contact) — the whole slot is set here: which GPIO it is on, what it is,
and what it does. An input runs any action a button can, so a wall switch reaches
the whole radio; a slot that starts a rule is bound on the
rules page.
WS2812B LIGHTING
Configure audio VU, volume feedback and system-status effects together on
the lighting page. GPIO assignment, strip length and colour order stay here.

In use names its owner on
hover — the display, the card reader and the DAC are on this list too, and a
slot handed one of their GPIOs takes it away from them. Dashed pins are the ones
that can be analog: only GPIO 1–10 reach ADC1, and the other ADC
shares its hardware with Wi-Fi, which never turns off here.
The display, card reader and DAC pins themselves are set on the
pin setup page.
Takes effect on save, without a reboot.
ROTARY ENCODERS
A knob's push-button is an ordinary slot below. For the first knob
(slot 7) set the short press to Select (
ui:press) and the
held one to Back / exit (ui:long): the screens' own
press / hold, the layout editor's Press / Hold, the menus and the WiFi
keyboard all run on those two — with "nothing" the button is dead. The
second knob's button can be any free slot; its actions apply on every
screen. A button wired to GND (KY-040, EC11) is an input with pull-up,
active-low. The knobs' rotation pins are set on the
pin setup page (enc_*, enc2_*).
