AtlasCube Network Music - Apache 2.4 ==================================== Apache mod_autoindex returns HTML, while AtlasCube requires a JSON array. These two files add the required JSON listing without changing MP3 URLs. Requirements: - Apache 2.4 with mod_rewrite - PHP 7.2 or newer - AllowOverride FileInfo Options for the music directory Installation: 1. Unpack atlascube-network-music-apache.zip. It already contains both files with their correct names. Alternatively: 1. Download htaccess.txt and rename it to .htaccess. 2. Download network-music-index.php.txt and rename it to .network-music-index.php. 3. Copy both renamed files to the root of the directory containing your music. 4. Make sure Apache is allowed to read the files and music directories. 5. Open the music root URL. It must return a JSON array beginning with [. 6. Enter that HTTP URL in AtlasCube, including the trailing slash. Minimal Apache virtual host: Listen 8090 DocumentRoot "/srv/music" Require all granted AllowOverride FileInfo Options On Debian/Ubuntu, enable rewriting with: sudo a2enmod rewrite Then restart Apache and verify: curl http://music-server:8090/ Security notes: - AtlasCube Network Music supports plain HTTP only. - There is no authentication on this path. - Keep the music server on a trusted local network. - The .htaccess asks search engines not to index the listing or the MP3 files. That is not access control: anyone who knows the URL can still read them.
